"Health!" might say, But Eyjafjallajökull is not only the utterance make some sneezing, but also the name of the Icelandic volcano, just happy his ashes spread on pan-northern Europe. To the many poor skydivers who have been looking forward to seeing a sunny weekend, this stupid mountain obviously has not wasted a single thought. After all, the sun shines, but is by the ash cloud including the North German airspace shut down completely and that means too sometimes hard Holm. Consequently, there is no permission to take off planes and without these it is hard to jump out of that. Just everything pretty ashes ...
on the side of the German Weather Service can look at satellite images, where you can see the ash cloud:
What looks at first glance like a map on drugs is actually a satellite image, the dust and other air components visible. The interesting areas in this case are the orange colored. Because a high concentration of volcanic ash is colored orange. Matches Springer blues (cloud-free areas) and dark red-black areas (thin cirrus clouds-). Beige-colored brown is the normal low cloud cover, also interesting is the magenta-colored Sahara dust.
The last outbreak of Eyjafjallajökull is about 200 years ago and then took 2 years. We just hope that this time not so long, because as long as I do not want to wait for my next jump. On the card, I can honestly not all that much orange see through Hartenholm and so is the hope that maybe we can start again tomorrow.
