Train over Hartenholm
temparatures well beyond the 30 degree mark we had last Saturday. This little to no wind, so best skydiving weather. Well, just to pack gave way to a win through to the mega heat, so that one again in the estimated 10 degrees warmer Pack Hall of sweat directly dripped onto the harness. But what the heck, no later than the next jump is the shirt so again blown dry.
When I arrived around noon at the drop zone, I am directly entered into the next load. Also present were Steffi, Matthias and Ebrahim, and we considered ourselves what we could do because as the four. Our first idea of a 4-Wheel, we have quickly thrown overboard, as we have noted that we do need our station wagon. It needs to be properly noted and we had no desire in the heat still walk around in long clothes. So we are looking for something, what you do not need handles.
We had the idea of a train exits. The whole thing must be thought of in such a way that you like a train sitting in a row to be here through the air - well we call it "driving" time. Everyone sits almost on it during his front man piggyback and holding on to his harness. Since none of us had done this before in the size, we exercised the exit ever at Mock-up . Matthias front, then I, as a third party and Steffi Ebrahim at the very end. The first experiments indicated already on a lot of fun and even some chaos. But we stayed here to try again.
In retrospect, absolutely the right decision. The experiment worked and we have the train managed to stop about 15 seconds. It had to be tidy the harness claws of the other and was constantly torn in any direction. The Bayer would say, a murder Gaudi. Ebrahim had his camera and has the whole thing over and over again relive-recorded. Here's the accompanying video:
There are two other funny jumps followed on the day and my screen I have after the last jump packed no more, but just thrown into the car. Too hot and I was packing for a cooler day had lifted. Thus, the Cayenne is good only 20 minutes again disappeared into her little house, I hope the fresh air has done her well ;-)
